Compact single-seed, module-based laser system on a transportable high-precision atomic gravimeter

A single-seed, module-based compact laser system is demonstrated on a transportable $^{87}\text{Rb}$-based high-precision atomic gravimeter. All the required frequencies for atom interferometry are provided by free-space acousto-optic modulators (AOMs) and resonant electro-optic phase (EOMs). The optical phase-locked loop between two paths derived from same provides an easy frequency manipulation separated hyperfine of 6.835 GHz using AOM EOM, respectively. Our scheme avoids parasite Raman transitions present in direct EOM modulation (modulating directly at splitting), which have detrimental effects accuracy gravity measurements. also convenient way vibration compensation through lasers' offset. Furthermore, modular design approach allows plug-and-play nature each individual optic module increases mechanical stability systems. We demonstrate measurements with 17.8 $\mu\text{Gal}$ over 250 seconds averaging time 2.5 2 h time.
